Some activities such as Examiner's search strategy, Fee Worksheet , Claims Worksheet, Extension of Time etc., appear in USPTO PAIR usually a week later than the mail room date.
16. Why am I getting the alert with the same activity that was reported last week?
Sometimes, USPTO inserts new activities in IFW among the existing items, instead of appending to the top of the list, which results in our system reporting the same activity again. However, users will then know that there has been new activity and could log on to our Website to view the complete IFW.
17. Why is a certain activity missing in my alert?
Sometimes, USPTO deletes new activities in IFW among the existing items, instead of appending to the top of the list. Therefore, the new activities may be missing from the alert and an earlier one listed as new.
